Since 2001, Leadership Westerville has hosted Service Day. This is a day focused on providing support and assistance at the homes of older adults and neighbors in need who live within the Westerville City School District.

On Saturday April 25, volunteers like you, in partnership with local businesses, service organizations, and Leadership Westerville, will assist older adults and residents in need with outdoor home projects.

​Volunteers should check in at the Mount Carmel St. Ann's Conference Rooms no later than 8:15 a.m. Projects should be completed by noon and volunteers should head back to Mount Carmel to return supplies.

Please note that all volunteers need transportation to and from their service site. In addition, anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian to sign their volunteer waiver and should be part of a group with a parent/guardian/chaperone.

Registration is now open for 2026!

These services are offered at no cost by community volunteers. All projects occur within the Westerville City School District. Because our resources are limited, we ask that individuals who can financially afford to complete their home project independently consider doing so before requesting volunteers. This helps us extend support to as many community members as possible.

Volunteers will only be able to complete OUTDOOR tasks including, but not limited to:

• Flower bed clean-up
• Light painting (you must provide paint)
• Window Cleaning: single story or first floor only
• Planting flowers (you must provide)
• Spring clean-up: Rake leaves, pick up sticks, etc.
