Since 2001, Leadership Westerville has hosted Service Day. This is a day focused on providing support and assistance at the homes of older adults and neighbors in need who live within the Westerville City School District. Save the Date for April 20, 2024. Volunteer for SErvice Day
Volunteers should arrive to Blendon Middle School at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday April 20; Service Day will conclude by 1 p.m. Supplies for the projects will be provided by the homeowner or our organization; however, we encourage volunteers to bring tools/gloves that you are comfortable using. Volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors and doing light yard work or home improvements. Please note that youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Request Assistance on Service Day
Residents should submit their project request by Friday, March 31, 2023 for consideration in this years' Service Day. Every attempt will be made to accommodate the submitted projects based on volunteer availability, time, and health/safety concerns. The services are provided free of charge by community volunteers. Projects take place within the bounds of the Westerville City School District.

- Flower bed clean-up
- Light painting (you must provide paint)
- Window Cleaning: single story or first floor only
- Planting flowers (you must provide)
- Spring clean-up: Rake leaves, pick up sticks, etc.
